We believe housing is a fundamental human right and more than a roof over our heads. It is the foundation that allows people to build a life, raise a family, grow a business, age in place, and remain rooted in the communities they love.
As Toronto continues to face a housing crisis, we need solutions that expand housing choice, improve affordability, and support stability so residents can put down roots and thrive.

Housing
Tenant Protection
Growth should not come at the expense of the residents who have built their lives here and who want to stay.
We will advocate for measures that help prevent unfair displacement, strengthen tenant protections during redevelopment, and support greater accountability for landlords who fail to meet their obligations. We will also ensure residents have the information and support they need to understand their rights and navigate housing-related challenges.
Accelerate Housing
Toronto's housing crisis requires action. Reducing unnecessary delays will help create the housing opportunities current and future residents need.
We will push to streamline administrative processes and foster collaboration between residents, the City, and responsible developers so much-needed housing can be delivered more efficiently and predictably.
Affordable Housing
A healthy city requires housing options for people at every stage of life and income level.
We will champion policies that expand affordable housing, protect existing affordable units, and make better use of public land to serve the public good. We support partnerships with public, non-profit, and co-operative housing providers to help create a wider range of housing options so residents can continue to live, work, and contribute to Ward 4.
Responsible Development
Growth is essential to the future of Ward 4, but it must be planned thoughtfully. We support a broader range of housing options that help meet our housing needs, including appropriate growth near transit, while respecting the unique character of our neighbourhoods.
A neighbourhood-by-neighbourhood approach can expand housing choice, help reduce displacement, and ensure infrastructure, services, and public spaces keep pace with growth so communities remain complete, connected, and livable.
